No visit to Anfield Stadium is complete without a visit to The Liverpool FC Story, the Club’s interactive museum. Here, you’ll discover over 120 years of LFC history and explore football, past and present, with the help of state of the art technology and never seen before displays.
The Steven Gerrard Collection
The former captain has exclusively donated his personal collection of footballing memorabilia for his fans to enjoy. See for yourself Steven’s match-worn LFC and England shirts, signed opposition shirts, medals, trophies and awards, England caps and match items from Istanbul 2005. Plus, there’s more items beautifully displayed in the Boot Room Sports Cafe, located next to The Liverpool FC Story.
Also in the museum
Take a tour through the Halls of Fame and see areas dedicated to stars of the past and present – Midfield Maestros; Attack, Attack, Attack; Goalkeepers and Flatback Four.
See the 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984 and 2005 European Trophies, plus loads more silverware that LFC have won in their illustrious career.
Fun for all the family with low levels exhibits and fascinating facts from LFC’s official mascot, Mighty Red.
Have your photo taken in the state of the art photo booth – with a choice of different LFC images to choose from.
To enhance your experience every visitor is provided with a multimedia handset with personalised 40 minute commentary by LFC Legend, Phil Thompson, who shares his experience of starting as a fan, becoming a player, then captain, before becoming assistant manager and manager of the world’s greatest football family.
It also includes player profiles, videos of your current LFC heroes in action, historic LFC moments as well as awe-inspiring moments featuring LFC’s legendary 12th man – the fans.
